Dear Citizens,
We have recently discovered technical malfunctions within our Civic Recognition Database, including persistent data syncing errors. These issues are currently preventing the system from reliably tracking and processing the actions of new applicants. As a result, we are unable to accurately issue Good Citizen Cards or rewards to new participants until these problems are resolved.
The Good Citizen Card was designed to recognize and reward players who engage in lawful, community-friendly behavior across the city. Since its introduction, it has grown into an important symbol of trust and responsibility within our city. Unfortunately, recent technical problems have begun to affect how well the card functions and its ability to fairly recognize our citizens’ efforts.
✅ All current Good Citizen Card holders will keep their card and status.
✅ Payouts and privileges tied to the card will remain in effect for those already enrolled.
❌ New applications for the Good Citizen Card are temporarily suspended.
Our Digital Infrastructure team is actively working behind the scenes to resolve the underlying issues.
“We’ve uncovered ongoing problems in how the system records the actions of our citizens,” said Governor Jamie Lawson, speaking alongside the Digital Infrastructure team. “In particular, data syncing errors have led to delays, missing progress, and some rewards being given incorrectly. To protect the fairness and trust of the program, we’ve decided to pause it temporarily while these issues are resolved.”
The Good Citizen Card means a great deal to our community; it honors those who work every day to make San Andreas safer and more respectful for everyone. We understand this pause may be frustrating, but please know it is only temporary. We truly appreciate your patience and continued support as we work to make the program better for all.
Take care of yourselves and each other, and thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping make this city the special place it is.
