To the proud citizens of Los Santos,
Your newly elected mayor, Chris Gates, was officially sworn into office this past Saturday, July 12th, during a lively and well-attended Welcome Event at the Los Santos Courthouse. The day marked the beginning of a new chapter for the city, with residents from all walks of life coming together to celebrate leadership, unity, and the future of Los Santos.
A crowd of supporters, residents, and city officials packed the courthouse to witness the official oath-taking, followed by an inspiring inaugural address from Mayor Gates himself.
“Being sworn in as Mayor of Los Santos is a moment I’ll never forget,” said Mayor Gates. “This city is full of potential, and together, we’re going to unlock it... block by block, person by person.”
The event provided opportunities for residents to engage directly with the new administration. Local law enforcement managed security efficiently, ensuring the celebration remained safe and accessible to all.
Mayor Gates, widely recognized for his community-driven vision, laid out his administration’s priorities and rebuilding trust between the city and its people.
Following the swearing-in ceremony, Mayor Gates proceeded directly to Government Headquarters to lead their first official Congressional meeting. A detailed press release outlining the topics and decisions discussed will be shared soon; stay tuned for updates.
The City of Los Santos thanks all who joined in this historic event and celebrates the incredible spirit of our community.
