Conflict with the Republic of Cayo Perico settled
Over the last week, citizens of the State of San Andreas may have noticed sightings and social media posts made by the Republic of Cayo Perico, as well as the organization 'Vendetta', displaying terrorist messages and imagery.
On the 23rd of June, 2025 at approximately 0800 hours, State intelligence services received classified information confirming that the Nation of Cayo Perico was preparing a direct and hostile assault on the State of San Andreas - this assault represented a grave national security threat aimed at seizing our state’s natural resources and destabilizing our sovereignty.
On the 24th of June at 1430 hours, the Los Santos Police Department SWAT team deployed specialist officers to conduct surveillance operations at a location of interest. What they uncovered confirmed active plans by foreign operatives to attack our state including kidnapping government officials, arson attacks around the City, and the forced takeover of all major business and supply chains to seize control of our economy.
After many days of uncertainty, State Governor Jamie Lawson managed to come to an agreement with the leaders of Cayo Perico wherein the State of San Andreas would not respond to the plans of attack with force, as long as Cayo Perico removed their forces from the State and seized all operations immediately. Cayo Perico agreed to retreat and retract their actions as to not face penalties from the State of San Andreas.
